In order to reduce back-end complexity and friction, the bank is looking to rationalize its technology architecture and increase operational efficiency by minimizing multiple onboarding channels to just one - mobile app.
Key elements from multiple onboarding channels that are about to be sunset were picked and a new consolidated onboarding journey was designed across accounts, cards, loans and SMEs.

Leveraged regional and international benchmark to augment the existing mobile onboarding journey while widening the scope for all types of customer risk profiles.

SME Onboarding
Embedded an onboarding experience for SMEs on an existing iBusiness mobile app, enabling single/multi owners and Power of Attorneys to sign-up, provide company information, upload documents and send external links for all owners and signatories to individually verify their identity via identity document scanning and face recognition.
